Wizz Air Hand Luggage FAQs
Wizz Air is one of a number of airlines to specify a 40x30x20 cm free hand luggage allowance
A: When flying with Wizz Air, every passenger can bring one under seat cabin bag on board for free. It can measure a maximum of 40x30x20 cm and must be placed underneath the seat in front of you.
A: Yes, but you will have to buy an add-on bundle called ‘Priority’ for an additional fee of up to £60 per flight in order to access the larger allowance. Purchasing this add on will allow you to bring an additional larger case measuring a maximum of 55x40x23 cm in to the aircraft cabin with you.
A: All cabin luggage is usually checked in Wizz Air’s luggage sizer before boarding. If your luggage is too large for your allowance, you will face a fine of around £40 and your bag may be placed in the aircraft hold.
A: All bags in Cabin Max’s 24L range are suitable for Wizz Air’s free hand luggage allowance as they measure 40x30x20 cm. Examples include the Metz 24L, Manhattan 24L, Anode 24L, Travel Hack Backpack 24L and Equator 24L.
